Recap: GladiatHers® Women in Sports Mixer

On Thursday over 60 women in the sports industry gathered to connect with and learn from one another in Atlanta, GA. The atmosphere was electric as women committed to growing their reach and influence in sports took steps to broaden their networks. Following registration, food and drinks, attendees listened to a panel of expert women in sports discuss their journeys in the industry. The panel consisted of Caren Cook, Assistant General Counsel for the Atlanta Hawks; Jessica Cohen, Head Trainer for the Atlanta Dream; Pharlone Toussaint, Atlanta Programs Coordinator for Laureus USA; and Tareia Williams, Director of Communications for Turner Sports. The panelists discussed the power of being a woman in a male dominated industry, sexual harassment, their keys to success in the industry and their own personal journeys. Following the panel discussion, attendees mingled and networked with one another and were also treated to complimentary headshots from Klicks Photography.
